The Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center serves as a comprehensive resource and recovery hub for people impacted by the devastating August 8th, 2023 Maui fires.

Essential Emergency Supplies

  • Non-perishable items (toiletries, diapers, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc.).

At the Lahaina Resource & Recovery Center, we provide access to essential supplies, such as home furnishings as housing is made available, blankets, toiletries, food, clothing, and furnishings, to help people impacted get back on their feet.

By providing these essential resources and services, we aim to restore hope and stability to the people of Lahaina.

On-Site Intake Case Management

  • Assist with coordination of various local, state, and federal agency services.

Home Furnishings

  • Bedroom, living room and kitchen furniture.

  • Window curtains, lamps, end tables.

  • Dishware, pots, food storage containers.

  • Knives, utensils, rubbish cans, and baking pans.

  • Rugs, towels, sheets and cleaning supplies & equipment.

Q1-Q2 2024

  • Secure location lease.

  • Source furniture donors.

  • Source home essentials donors.

  • Acquire warehouse equipment.

  • Hire & train warehouse staff.

Q3-Q4 2024

  • Receive, catalog, & store donations.

  • Begin provisioning home furnishing & essentials to fire victims as they move into homes.

2025 & Beyond

  • Maintain stock of home furnishings & essentials through donations.

  • Continue provisioning home furnishings & essentials to fire victims until need subsides.

We Need The Following List to Build Out LRRC

  • Steel Wire Shelving

  • IBC Water Totes (275 Gallon)

  • 40X20 Event Pole Tents (will accept other sizes)

  • Lumber Materials for Roof : Plywood for flooring.

  • Pallets (preferred color because they  are durable wood and treated lumber)
